Vegetarian and Vegan
Cornell Dining is eager to provide meals that fit into today’s health conscious lifestyles; vegetarian and vegan being among the most popular. Our culinary staff is trained on a variety of meatless diets and dishes popular among students from across the globe.

All foods that are considered vegetarian or vegan are labeled as such in our All You Care to Eat Facilities. There is a great variety in meatless entrees, soups, grilled items, and sandwiches that are available daily.

Green Harvest is our vegetarian and vegan bar at Robert Purcell Marketplace Eatery (RPME), featuring both hot and cold meatless items and appeal to all of our diners! Hot grilled sandwiches, miso soup, and Indian foods rotate through this station.

Soy milk is available in all of our All You Care to Eat Facilities as well as our convenience stores and is available as an option for smoothies and specialty coffees. There are a variety of vegetarian sandwiches and frozen entrees as well as Rice Milk and vegan desserts available at our retail locations. In addition, Cornell Dining is proud to serve Barilla Plus, a pasta high in protein and omega 3 fatty acids, at many locations including Risley Dining, Big Red Barn, and RPME, daily.

Cornell Dining is also proud to partner with local vegetarian/vegan restaurant, Moosewood, to bring their delicious recipes to Cornell’s Moosewood at Anabel Taylor. Some vegetarian or vegan options available at Moosewood at Anabel Taylor include:

  • Vegan Chocolate Cake
  • Seitan Sandwiches
  • Miso Soup Bar with tofu
  • Sweet Potato Cashew Patties
  • Grilled Tofu with Brown Rice
